About Me

I was born on July 8, 2001, in Canada. My parents moved to Canada from China, so I'm a CBC (Canadian Born Chinese). I'm able to speak and understand basic Mandarin.

I mainly attended elementary through Pierre Berton Public School. In high school I attended Rutherford Private School. For university, I attended the University of Waterloo in the program of CFM (Computing and Financial Management) and recently graduated with a Bachelor degree.

I am currently working at Smile Digital Health, which is a healthcare company, as a Software Developer. As of right now the company is working closely with Ontario Health on a project. Some other notable organizations I had previously worked at include the Government of Canada in both the Finance and Immigration sectors as a Business Analyst, as well as at TD Bank as a Quality Engineer.

One of my primary hobbies is video editing. Since high school I've started self-learning Sony Vegas to make edits of shows, movies, anime, and games.

Another hobby that I have is playing the piano. I have taken classes throughout elementary but stopped at level 8 and haven't touched it in years. Occasionally I do play though, either if I feel like it, am inspired by something or playing a song for others.

I also used to enjoy playing badminton with friends, although it's been a while since we last played. I'm pretty big into skiing in the winter as well, having gone to Blue Mountain and Mont Tremblant with friends previously, and most recently had gotten into running. Some friends and I have run some 5Ks and 10Ks events in Toronto, and we plan on doing more in the future!
